Hello
and welcome!
Here you will find many descriptions of the great value
of Aesthetic Realism, the
philosophy founded in 1941 by the American historian, poet, and critic
Eli
Siegel.
In over twenty-two years of studying its principles, I
know that Aesthetic Realism is practical in every area of our lives.
Born and raised in Yonkers, N.Y., I earned a degree
in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in N.Y.C.
I am also a singer, so proud to be part of the Aesthetic Realism Theater
Company whose next performance you can read about in the flyer here.
I now live in the Bronx with my husband, Jeffrey Williams,
whose articles on education and sports are among the writings you will
find here. These articles are just some of thousands which have appeared
in local, national, and international periodicals on a vast range of subjects.
I have given public seminar papers which I include
here, on a wide variety of subjects of interest to women. I
have learned to be a kinder person, successful at work, and in love!
And I am so proud to be studying to teach Aesthetic Realism in great classes
taught by the Class Chairman, Ellen Reiss.
Aesthetic Realism not only freed me to have the happy
life I always hoped for, it also has the understanding that can change
such wide matters affecting everyone, like, racism, economic injustice,
and deadly conflicts between nations. In fact, there is a new exciting,
powerful book that has just been published-- Aesthetic Realism and the
Answer to Racism by Alice Bernstein & Others. Click on
this link to find out more, including how to order!
I am so glad the people reading these documents, and
those on the links I’ve provided, will get a true picture of what Aesthetic
Realism is, how it can enrich people’s lives and make for a safe world
to live in. And you will see that studying Aesthetic Realism
is a very good time! |
